Prostrate, often mat-forming herb that features shiny narrow leaves that look spoon shaped. It flowers during the summer with small white fan like flowers

Habitat

It commonly grows in coastal saltmarsh but is also found in wet areas along lakes and streams

Distribution

Native to South Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria. Also in New Zealand and southern Chile

Size

Can grow to a height of around 20 cm and spread to 2 metres wide
