Summary

Orange, elongate ladybird, wing-cases bearing eleven black spots; head and pronotum black with two pale patches each; antennae and legs dark. This species has been introduced from Europe some time ago to control aphids.

Habitat

Lives mostly in parks and gardens; also wetlands, dunes, woodlands and forest

Distribution

South-eastern and south-western Australia including Tasmania
